Subcluster for Forest industry

Members of Forest industry in the HSEQ cluster launched a forum whose main goal is responsible wood harvesting, transport and procurement. In this forum, Members aim to collect industry specific information needs and legal obligations typical for procurement and agree upon how this information should be verified. To realize the goal, Members plan and authorize HSEQ assessments that give supplier of the forest sector the opportunity to demonstrate their sustainability and capability to deliver.

The forum is moderated by Kiwa Inspecta, which is responsible for ensuring that competition law requirements are met in accordance with the rules of the HSEQ cluster. Kiwa acts as an independent lead auditor in assessments and buyers are offered the opportunity to participate in these events
